Canine Massage Therapy
Canine Sports Massage Therapy is the therapeutic application of hands-on deep tissue techniques to the voluntary muscle system - for the purpose of increasing circulation, reducing muscle spasms, relieving tension, enhancing muscle tone, promoting healing and increasing range of motion in all breeds of dogs. I am a Certified Canine Massage Therapist (CCMT) and can massage in any state.
I travel to dog shows or your home/training building. I also massage at my home by appointment only.
The benefits of Canine Massage Therapy include:
-
Enhances muscle tone and range of motion.
-
Reduces inflammation and swelling in the joints, thereby alleviating pain.
-
Promotes the healing process by increasing the flow of nutrients to the muscles, and aiding in carrying away excessive fluids and toxins.
-
Creates a positive effect on the contractual and release process of the muscles...releasing tension...relaxing muscles.
-
Stimulates circulation by: defrosting frozen muscles, thereby releasing endorphins - the body's natural pain killers.
-
Helps to maintain the whole body in better physical condition.
-
When massage is used in conjunction with a vigorous training routine, recovery is accelerated.
